I love it when people modify stuff....
My buddy has a hatch and since the rains coming thru has had his speedo stop working. So i figure since i've had this problem b4 its the VSS or the wiring. This is where it gets fun.. The original wires have been replaced with speaker wires that have been taped together in many sections. I'm talking maybe 6 inch sections of wire and one of them said panasonic on them lol. So i started disecting the wires and there was bad connections the entire length of it. So i got the orignal wires that belong to the VSS off a junker and what do you know! it works fine.. I'm simply amazed at the length some people will go to prove they are the biggest idiot of all.
A few years ago when i still my camaro, the TPS got broke off by a idiot friend of mine so I stuck it back on with saftey wire..... To the best of my knowledge its still that way to this day. The last time I saw the car was 6 months ago when I back home visiting a friend of mine that has a MINT 25th anniversary 92 camaro.

lolol... Wow. Well, my front end is held on with zip ties and metal hangers wrapped around it. Really janky. IDK what the guy before me was thinking. Just need to wait for the weekend now and reinstall it correctly.
lol i see i'm far from alone on this then. Working at a body shop i see some pretty rigged stuff, my favorite is the sheet rock screws to hold bumper covers on
