keep hydro gsr trans or use 91 ls trans?
im putting another b16 together to put into my 91 dx hatch. right now it has a 95 gsr hydro trans with the hasport adapter. i picked up an ls cable trans from a 91 integra. im stuck on which to use this time around.
id have to buy a diff clutch disc and trans mount if i used the cable trans but i didnt really like the release with the hasport cable/hydro setup. whar to do..any input?

I'm using a hydro b16 trans in my ef with a ls swap for now.. the clutch pedal is pretty stiff and its a stock clutch but it feels like its a after market clutch lol. and also the adjustment on the cable to hydro accuator is pretty pickey but I got it dialed in right where I want it now. it took like a half hour of playing with the adjustments to get the clutch to engauge and disengauge right...
Different gears are what makes this a easy pick.
I'm not a huge fan of the feel of the hasport setup (while it's a great engineered piece).
I rather a cable, but not an LS.
You also can convert to full hydro kits are out there. Hydro parts are easier to comeby.

well id rather not spend the money for another clutch aand another mount when i have both these parts brand new already. and id be sooper pissed if this ls trans has shifting problems after install. least i know the gsr trans works perfectly. ill just deal with the hasport setup and possibly ponder whether to attampt the full hydro conversion
I have the innovative cable to hydro accuator and it was real picky at first. till I took the time to mess with it but once its set right it feels normal besides the stiffer pedal feel. All I need to finish my car is to get the innovative hydro mount for the trans. I'm kinda in the same situation your in. I have a cable trans mount but I'm using a hydro trans lol. And also about changing clutch disk you don't have to unless the cable ls trans is out of a 92-93. If its a 90-91 you will have to change the clutch disk tho
