coilovers vs springs
i wanted to lower my 92 prelude but i don't have any idea of which to get. i have no experience with a car with coilovers yet. a lot of people says that coilovers are noisier because they are loose.. is that true?? my bro's accord is lowered using springs and it is great. but it is already fixed to a certain height. though i only want 1 height on my prelude. i want the perfect height. hate scratching things. help me guys..
Are you going for looks or function? For every day driving,
the lowering springs will do fine. If you're looking for
performance, I would suggest the coil overs.
I've a 3rd gen, and done both lowering spring (Eibach ProKit) and
now have Ground Control Coil Overs with Koni yellows. I _MUCH_
prefer the coil overs. But then, I also AutoX my car.
