post your turbo manifold braces
I know alot of people brace ebay manifolds, my manifold isnt ebay but my hx35 is pretty damn heavy, makes me think about bracing the manifold, post up some pics
What kinda manifold you have right now. what material is it? hx'2 are heavy but in comparison to most there not crazy heavy hogs. Most manifolds will hold that turbo no problem if it was made correctly and welded correctly.
Brace the weight of the turbo. I like to use heim'd braces that will support the turbo in the same location if its bolted to a manifold or not especially in thin-wall applications.
Here is a turbo setup I deisgned and fabricated for the FXMD race NSX. They were having trouble with their previous setup and cracking. This was likely caused by engine movement coupled with the fact the previous fabricator decided it would be a good idea to hard mount the turbo to the chassis.
These pix are a little rough but you get the idea. They had no further manifold issues after this setup.

Why not over engineer?
