Does anybody know how the vents in the center consol come out? I tried to gently pry it out from the front but got scared when I heard cracking noises… What should be my first step?

 

The front center vents on the hatch at least just pull out if you tug on it. It might make some creeking noises, shouldn't sound like anything is actually cracking, from sitting in its spot for 20 years.

Na... Toggle switch for my driving lights.

 

So... There are no screws holding this thing in???

 

no screws. lil clips that snap in place. liike metal tabs that press against the inside. place a small screwdriver on the sides and gently pry em out.

 

They come right off, I took mine out so I can paint them. The cracking noise is just the plastic flexing.

 

Not so much… The Arizona sun has claimed another victim on my 20 year old car. The center vent broke (read exploded) into several pieces.
Next question… Are the vents on the CRX’s and Hatches interchangeable with my 4 door?
