The Fiance just bought a 1993 Del Sol on Sunday. Upon further inspection we noticed this contraption is broken:



Easy fix? Order the part from honda and just replace it?

It looks like a major PITA.

 

If that pin just slides out then easy fix.

nothing some duct tape and a box-shaped medal brace (that would keep the rod lined with the hole and allow slide in/out movement) cant fix lol

 

There's more to that piece, the end is broken off inside the door, you'll need to take the door panel off and replace it (the 2 bolts that hold the other part on are on the outside of the door)

Honda discontinued part. Does anyone know where I can get replacement part? I tried car-part.com, and first time looking on this forum, only found this post.
