Btw I do want it to be loud I don't want that nasty ricer sounds I want a deep tone, I have a magna flow cat back on it and it does sounds pretty nice honestly, but I want the headers now, and my price range is about upper 400+ lower 500-

PS. The catalytic converter.. is coming off.

well if you're going to get a race "header" not headers, it's going to be loud regardless....it's going to be louder at least. 4-500 you can either get KRRH or Go power 575 for $575 if you want to save a bit. I've seen some crazy gains from that header or you could probably find used Skunk 2 which is just as good.

Hit up go power for the 575, its basically a skunk2. But you have the option of adding a 3" collector for IDK how much.

What have you seen from go power header?

The KRRH quaility is not on par with the S2 header and the 575 will not produce the gains the S2 will if i whwhere you look for a used V2 S2 header for the higest quality n gains for the money.

what are the gains? and the S2 headers are in the 700-800$ area. witch is quite a bit.

Do you have numbers for me to review or is this all opinion b/ its a good name brand?

I don't mind saving a bit for the headers at all but I would love to know what im saving for before I actually get it.

If I had to choose between the two I would go with vibrant headers.

With some research you find it produces great numbers with or without tuning across the board. I see them come up used all the time for around $600 so keep looking with the quality and performance it offers you will not be disappointed.

Few pics of mine for reference -

Will is shall we say, an avid, skunk2 enthusiast no matter what. Still racking up tickets there with that 76 lol?!

The skunk2 is the best off the shelf header, but the up and slowly rising star is the go power 575 for 1/3 less. Now I haven't seen dyno comparisons of the two but I wouldn't question the 575 abilities. After all the 575 was designed by the man who was the r&d director for skunk2 lol. Also for 630 shipped you can get the 575 with a 3" outlet.

Nobody isn't going to question the krrh results on the dyno, but the overall quality is really hit or miss. IMO stay away from krrh, its not worth the potential headaches.

The DC and vibrant headers are good, obviously they will perform leaps and bounds over stock. But really just that little bit more on the investment and you'll get a better product with better potential.

I agree, that with a little bit more time I can invest into some better quality / performing headers. In your opioion what do you believe would be worth the green. the gopwr 575 or the s2 headers, I want the best price for performance. and do you think it is smart to get a "used" header. I am thinking of just saving a little and getting the S2.

I went on gopwr web page and there dyno looks pretty good except all the dyno runs they have the car doesn't only have there headers, it also has other things for example.

Peak Horsepower
212.54hp
Peak Torque
148.10tq
Vehicle
2006-2011 Civic Si

After:
Skunk2 Stage2 cams with valve train
k20a2 oil pump
Competition Stage2 clutch with ultra light weight flywheel
GP CMC Upgrade
GP 3" Exhaust

I just want str8 stalk with the header dyno run gopwr vs s2 why can't you ever find something easy like that, see the pwr increace.. ><

and skunk2 header dyno is NO WHERE... no numbers... so much hype no numbers.. im frusterated.

Yes it is worth it and the S2 header comes with the adaptor and donut gasket and you use a 3 hole gasket from your exhaust to S2 adaptor.

The skunk2 is worth it unless your going 3" exhaust, then get the go power 575 3". That extra 1/2" on the flange will yield about 1wtq and 3-4whp.

oh email cj@go-pwr.com and ask questions, they've done so many runs of everything they'll tell you straight up whats best for your needs. They wont sell you something you don't need. Again Jeff at go power was the r&d director for skunk2.

Alright be warned the following you are going to read is from complete and utter ignorance so please don't bash to hard.-

That 3'' how is that installed, you would need a pipe that is also 3 inches? or does that connect to the one that is already there. I don't fully understand the 2 1/2 to 3 inch installation. Mind explaining it to me a tad, here to learn and ask the stupid question.

I'm running an Invidia on my FG right now with a Sk2 Megapower. Sounds so deep and rich and noticeable gains with the FPro tune.

It was around $600 or so, but worth the money IMO.

The standard flange on the end of the 575 header is 2.5", designed to mate with nearly all exhausts. Go power upon request will take the already produced header and modify it with a 3" flange to mate with a 3" exhaust. The wait times can be long for go power at times, if you don't wanna wait grab a skunk2 some how.

I don't know, but it makes sense to think if you had a header with a 3" flange it wouldn't bolt up to anything smaller than 3". But IDK lol.

I know your asking about headers, but when you get to exhausts get the fullrace or go power 3". Or skunk2 76 if you want to be loud and obnoxious for no reason at all and get tickets, ask will lol. A 3" exhaust on any application will out perform anything smaller, so don't be the one to waste your money on a 60mm ok.

Its nice, but it does have the defouler built in which with flashpro its not necessary. And cylinder #4 runner has a weird placement for it.

It has and nobody says other wise, people just don't like the hit or miss quality of it.

Yes ive been pulled over around 6 times since installing the 76mm about 3 months ago but i always get away with it. IMO nothing sounds as aggressive as the skunk2 header,skunk2 76mm combo at wot but it attracts a lot of negative attention and i am a good example of that.

I am currently on the cai,skunk2 header,skunk2 catback basemap and it pulls like a **** but you wont see a major difference between the S2 and the KRRH without tuning. I am sponsored by skunk2 in a sense so i got my S2 header for $600 shipped brand new but like i said you can find it used for that price i wouldn't hesitate to jump on 1.

Quick question, does anyone have or know anyone that has the skunk 2 header and the skunk 2 megapower R exhaust (70mm)?? If so, how is it? Is it worth it or should i just say **** it and get the skunk 2 megapower RR exhaust (76mm)? New to the honda game so im trying to figure this out. Also if anyone has any sites i can use to find performance parts along with interior and exterior parts please post them. (sorry if i'm asking in the wrong section) Thanks everyone.
