I have one question. A new master cylinder is like $120 from Honda. Why did you not replace it in the 3 years you've known it to be leaking? Isn't your carpet absolutely soaked with brake fluid? lol

Yeah. Sounded like it was definitely going to be a clutch system problem. Your trans should be okay, though it's possible you've added some wear to the shift components in it. Good to hear you got it fixed.

help me out again my tranny is acting up again today it just wont go in gear when u step on the clutch u could hear grinding noise and like slipping of gearing help me out would it be throw out bearing or is the tranny have bad syncro??
Hi,
If you're pressing on the clutch and a whirring/whining noise occurs it's usually a throw out bearing issue.
If you're trying to shift into gears and it's grinding that could be a synchro issue. Or when you're pressing on the clutch pedal it's not fully pressing the pressure plate (master or slave cylinder issue.)
I would start with the obvious and go from there. It wouldn't be considered wasting money because if somethings leaking it needs to be fixed. Better to try those first than to drop the trans do a "repair" and the mechanical controls are still faulty.

yeah i change my slave and master cylinder already it fix it for a while now but when u step on the clutch u could hear whirring and hissing sound. I drove my car for a bit like that then today it finally wont go to gear today again when i put it in reverse it jump backward once and soften the clutch pedal a bit then it wont go in gear at all.
When i turn off the car and put it on first gear and start the car while my foot pressing the clutch all the way it would launch forward then ill brake to kill the car then i started up the car again then it would go back in all gear again. Once in gear most likely it would shift in smoothly but just grinding when u step on the clutch to shift u could here hissing..
I think it the throw out bearing since i havent change my clutch for so long ago maybe like 6 year i think i know it long ..

It sounds like your clutch is staying attached to the flywheel even though you are pressing on the clutch pedal. I believe you might have a clutch assembly failure all-together. Maybe your pressure plate isn't disengaging the clutch disc completely from the flywheel when you're pressing the pedal which causes the mechanical connection to move the car.
If it was just the throw out bearing it would be just making noises. You might want to invest in a new flywheel/clutch assembly since you have the trans dropped. Good luck man.

damn was hard lol first time dropped out my tranny. Run into alots of little problem like rear main seal is leaking oil and the big one lol. The problem that it dont go into gear was that the spring on the clutch disc shot out of the disc and got stuck on the fylwheel. It grinded the flywheel a little and yeah the bad part all the 8 pieces flywheel bolt lol lucky it was not stripped all the way so i manage it get it all out safe and sound
glad i got it fix thank you technic05 for your help ill post some pic on what happen lol
