man... about an hour ago.. im coming home from work...
get on to rt 2 ... its wet out... i hit a puddle in on the highway... hydroplaned right into the left side barrier ... crossed 2 lanes... then hight the right barrier...
front end is screwed up...

poor thing....

geico ins. all i got to pay is $500 for all the repairs...
but my poor apc clear corners !!! noooooooooo lol

Whoops. Sorry about the accident. I take uit fro mthe title of your post that the impact made the air bag come out. Did you get burned????

 

MAN !! all the sudden ! POOF !!! OUCH ! my honda hat want flying into the back seat.. my glasses got broken... no nose peices left.... damn thing broke my wndshield !!

 

honda bags are weird and unpredictable. I had a wreck in my 6 week old 2k hatch about two years ago. this was almost a head on collision going 45mph and my bags didnt deploy.

 

hehe..... that does suck man!

 

it went off when i tapped the guard rail.... my face is a little swollen though... i dont care.. my car is getin fixed... new paint... all the goodies !!!!

 

wow. i had a good friend wreck her 96 accord and she had wicked burns all over her face and arms. i was riding shotgun w/ my EX last july in her toyota corolla when she pulled out in front of a car going 65 which T-boned us..i didn't have a mark on me from the airbag, just a scratch from the seatbelt.

 

!!!!!ouch !!!!!! did an air bag really do that !!!!! thank god it didnt happen to me !!!!!

doesn't look bad form the picture, but the damage may also be in the frame and underneath the dash, those hondas and their crumple zones!

Honda/Acura airbags are one of the best on the market and are made to protect the person driving the car, so if what ever you hit doesnt break the sensors the airbags arent going to deploy

 

Glad ur ok, the damage does'nt look too bad, plus u said u geting it fixed

 

well... my options are this.... have it fixed ( if the claims person says its not totaled ) and then sell it to "lil bobby who just wants to put a kit on it...
or just get the $$$ for it and sell the parts....

im so depressed.... i might have to get a new car....

 

damn.. wierd.. cuz when i got in my accident, i was going 45 and hit the stupiod reckless driver at that speed. my airbags deployed, but i was able to keep my head back, and it didnt even hit my head at all.. so i still dunno how getting my head hit by airbag feels like.
