Default Another DIY No Weld Crankcase Breather

I decided to make a baffled breather box of my own and this is how it came out.

Materials & Tools:

Thin steel sheets
5/8" aluminum tubing
1.5" steel tubing
JB Weld
10mm bleed bolt
Belt sander
Hydraulic Shear(for the crisp cuts)
Masking tape (to mock up the box before Jb welding it)

The dimensions are 20mm x 15mm x 10mm

This is the baffle I made making the holes with a hole punch.

The baffle inside the catchcan.

The drain valve I made using a bleed bolt that I tapped for smaller screw that can be tighten by hand. Ive leak tested it and it holds water to the brim with out any leaks.

Ive still got to do the filter barbs and add stell scrubbers but this is it so far took me about 4 hours to build this.

With some sanding and paint it should turn out nice.

Im curious to see how it looks painted. How the textures match in particular, I plan on welding mine, but it looks like a decent start.

This is actually pretty sweet if someone doesnt have a person that can weld or doesnt want to spend the money for one similar. Let us know how its holding up. Right now I got my vented vc hoses going to the ground because I didnt want to spend the cash haha may try this

right now it feels really sturdy. there is no flex when i try and squeeze it and ive drop it a couple times and it hasnt cracked. finally test will be in car vibrations. if it passes that then ill prolly never buy a catch can in my life. lol
