Default -3an turbo oil feed line?

i have a 3an oil feed line that i wanted to use to feed oil to a journal bearing turbo. i see the 4an everywhere i was wondering if i can use the 3an since this is what i already have. would an oil restrictor still be needed if i was to use the smaller line?

Most journal bearing units run a -3. The 4 is a bit big. As for the restrictor gotta ask the company who made the turbo. Just give them a shout.
