Ok, i was wanting to keep in my stock d16 and just do a little to it until i have the money for a b16a or b18a, and i know that i want to turbo my d16 but don't know if it is safe with my stock internals. If it isnt wat should i change to make it safe, and if it is, how much boost could i run on the stock internals?
Safely..Probably 4 to 8 lbs depending on how much stress the motor can take if its over 100k and never been boosted 4 to 8 would be fine. I personally would just wait.

Well i want to wait but it could b upwards of a year b4 i can get the swap, so wat could i do to make 10psi safely? Buy better pistons and rods? what else? and what kind of mani could i use, i was looking at a thread that glassheadlights started about his 90 CRX and i think he said it was from a b motor, wat else would work?
if your gonna boost it you should rebuild it all the right way just save your money and enjoy your mpgs bro boost is gonna be a hassle then what are you gonna do once it blows up be SOL just wait

Well i only have the CRX, nothing else to drive even if i bought a b16 it would take a while to get it in, i wouldnt even know where to start, im kind of new to doing anything with the engine, and it would take me forever, and itd b off the road to long
i dont get you,you say you dont know anything and a bswap will take to long but you want to turbo your car? turbos dont just fall in and go you need it install and get it tunned, if you cant swap a motor what makes you think a turbo build will be so easy?

Swaps cake, Turbo's cake, wiring is just time consuming because if you eff up you can screw a LOT of things up. But I've done, done it all. Save your money and buy your swap.

Ok, well could u tell me what i would need for the b16a swap and around about what i should pay for all of it? Would it really b easy to swap, like i would need it to take like 2 or 3 days max, and how would i not f up the wiring?
You'd need an ECU, trans, motor mounts, harness, axles and other miscellaneous stuff. Shouldn't take longer than 3 days if you got someone to help out and they have wiring schematics online you can reference to.
if you dont know wiring then get someone to make you a harness or just stay obd0. if you get a harness to go obd1 make sure you have it before you evern start or youll be waiting on it
