when you install the gauges I was told you gotta take some of the stock bulbs out...anyone know which bulbs you actually take out?

 

you don't take out any bulbs. just be careful when you put the guage faces on so that you don't break any needles.

 

my friend actually took the bulbs out on his...cause the colors weren't matching making it look all funky. but that was on a camry. so i dunno.

 

I already have installed the guage faces...I'm talking about the bulbs in the back of the whole gauge cluster...because when you turn the stock dimmer switch up so that the other lights in the car are bright (ac/temp/defroster) the lights on the gauge cluseter also turn up and it makes the gauges look like crap....anyone know what I'm trying to say

 

No one has installed gauges?????

 

u take out the lil bulbs, thats what i did, not all of em juss the ones that light up yer cluster. keep the srs, check engine, etc. in place.. u might have too fiddle around with em too get the right bulbs off

 

thanks....I figured I'd have to take them out one at a time and then see which ones actually need to come out
