Default 2mm Head Gasket for Turbo H22A - Stock Block?

Link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Prelu...mZ190376873527

I came across this 2mm head gasket for turbo H22's that lowers compression a little bit and was wondering, do yo guys think this would be a good choice for my boosted stock block H22A?

no way man theres no reason to lower your compression that much you will be below 160 across the board with that thick of a gasket keep the oem and get a good tune just my opinion...

Hi, ya I just spent a long time reading up on these head gaskets and apparently you also loose alot of power too The one thing I loved about my setup is how nice the transition into boost was and I would hate to lose power. Besides this is a stock motor also - so you know I am not gonna make more than 350Whp safely anyways if even that...

Now that I read up on this I am leaning towards the stock head gasket... but I guess I will check this thread later on to see what others have to say too... thx.

I ran a stock headgasket, on a stock bottom end with flat face skunk2 valves on my h22 and was just fine, I was around 350hp at 12psi I believe.

Anyways point being, stock head gasket will be fine.
