head gasket blown?

Default head gasket blown?

lately when i commute to work after i park i check the upper radiator hose and there is no pressure, the later i would see coolant on ground look like it came from the over flow tank. is head gasket or bad radiator cap. and also my valves are ticking really sound will this cause any harm the engine or affect vtec engagement is a b16 motor is burning some oil i have to add half a quart every two weeks

Possibly sticking t-stat. If it remains open or close that could explain the lack of pressure at the upper hose. Try the t-stat first. Its cheap and easy...

compression test to rule out head gasket issue. stuck closed thermostat suspected as above. Failure of ECT sensor, fan motor or fan relay can cause your fan not to start and lead to overhead as well when idling stationary. Water pump failure can also cause overheat, but this type of failure is uncommon.
