will a 2001 gsr p.s. bracket work for an ls vtec swap in a 98 ex?

gsr head, the gsr n si part numbers r the same with the exception of one sayin p30 n the other sayin p72.

Has to be a GS-R bracket for a GS-R head. You also need to use a '98 - '01 Integra P/S pump (can come from any model, but it must come from those years) or a '99 - '00 Si pump.

 

thanks guys, id rather not even have power steering but i guess buying this stuff is cheaper than replacing with non power rack

 

someone told me i could unbolt the pump n put a bolt in the end of the hose with a hose clamp to block it off and not use it, will the sensor in the steering line set off a code if i do that? i hate check engine lights

 

No, there is NO CEL for unplugging the PS line pressure switch.

Wont throw a CEL, but if you aren't going to run a pump loop the lines and put a breather in there. Btw a depowered P/S rack turns quite a bit harder than a real manual rack.
