Icon7 My 2007 ST1300A

On May 7th 2007 I bought a 2007 ST1300A.

Love my bike. Last year me and 2 friends went around the Cabot Trail here in Nova Scotia

Here is a picture of our son Shawn on his 1980 CB650. This picture was taken 2006

And my 2007 ST1300a (my son on the bike)

And here was my 1980cb750. This was our sons 1st day of school Sept 1991. I had this bike for 25 years, then the new ST. I should have kept the CB, but Space, lack of it

Very nice CB750. Very very few unmolested 750 customs left out there, but if there is a worthy successor to the old school super cruiser it's the ST1300.

When I sold it the odometer had 35000km and the same 4 into 4 exhaust. And yes the ST is far superior to the cb. But I still take our sons cb650 for some small drives. I lives in Edmonton Ab. where he works for PPCLI1 as a Platoon commander. We only have the 1 child and we miss him.

Pretty cool to be able to ride with your son.

Nice bikes. Always wanted to check out the ST.

If you get the chance drive one. Electric windshield, that unique engine wine. And the torque is wheelie time without trying to hard.

2010 was the last year for the ST. Honda has great deals on them now. I tried the VFR1200FA and was not impressed. Honda went backward in my opinion

The VFR pretty much peaked with the first generation 800, it's sadly been downhill ever since.

Nice purchase, I really enjoy riding our ST1300's. I was surprised you didnt like the VFR1200, I have ridden both the standard 6 speed and the DCT versions and I dont have any complaints other than the available color choice lol.
