1994 Accord EX 4 Cyl Timing Belt/Camshaft Woodruff Key
I need to replace the half-moon/Woodruff Key that connects the camshaft sprocket wheel (on the timing belt) to the camshaft in my 1994 Accord EX 4 Cyl. The maintenance manual says I need to remove the balance shaft belts and one engine mount in order to take the timing belt off and get to the camshaft sprocket and woodruff key. Anyone know if it can be done without removing the balance shaft belts?
First I'd ask why you need to replace the "key".
Personally never done it but "deserthonda" or "hondadude" have posted about being able to change the cam seal without removing all the timing belts...which would mean the cam sprocket has to come off. So search for their posts or others about replacing the cam seal.

Thanks! I checked those users out and they were helpful information. When I took it apart, it turned out I have a sheared camshaft, so I have to replace that anyways.
