So here is the thing.
have a b16a2 longblock. i am buying a jumper harness from rywire to convert from obd0 to obd2a.

i was told that i can convert the motor itself to OBD1, and then just use the OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness.

i also could use an engine harness for this motor.

how can i find an unmolested one, or what car can i pull the harness from that will work with what i am trying to do.

 

your cars gonna need to be converted to mpfi you can depin and repin your dizzy plugs to run obd1 and just use a jumper for the ecu pm member clipsed he can build you a brand new harness already converted gl bro

 

No need to convert to obd2. all you need to do is convert to obd1 and your set to go. check my sig if you need a harness.

what engine harness could i use, or start looking for to get this car running again.

i dont have 600 to put towards a harness from rywire, and i will be swapping the motor in a couple of days, and over the weekend. HELP ASAP.

located in south mississippi. contacted Rywire.com and the DPFI to MPFI is no longer available.

 

Found a 94 honda del sol harness for a b16.
i think that i will buy it. heard they are "hard" to come buy.

 

won't do you any good, the shock tower plugs are different. you need to convert your std harness to mpfi. wish there was an easier way but short of replacing both your cabin and engine harness with hf or Si parts, it's your only option.

 

god this is gay. wiring confuses me so bad. rywire doenst sell those harnesses anymore.

sooo this car doesnt already have an engine harness?? youll need another dpfi harness and convert it to mpfi. not hard its 4 wires!! 2 to the dizzy and 2 to the injectorszzz

 

my ef has an engine harness, just i found a b16a2 with no harness. just the longblock.
my dpfi harness if fine, just trying to find a PRECISE DPFI to MPFI write up.

i tried searching for his SN, but found nothing.
just trying to get things done quick.
If i cant get everything, i will just swap in a ZC swap. and put the b16 in at a later date.

does anyone have the wiring schematics for the b16a2 into 91 std hatch.

i have an DA integra harness to use plugs from

 

you dont need b16a2 wiring diagram. first concern yourself with wiring up your car for multi point fuel injection (MPFI). then after its running you can upgrade to obd1 or you can also run the car as an obd0 b16. its not that difficult, unless your now very good at wiring.

 

Check my sig it shows the dpfi to mpfi. Swap step by step maybe it will help you out.

 

i understand the dpfi to mpfi. but im asking how to add the necessary plugs, and what not TO my DPFI harness..

i cant find a useful write up with non MS PAINT pics.
