Now this does have some tech in it because that's why i'm asking this. I liked hondas all the way back when I was 14 years old. I like them so much this because whatever your into you can make your honda into that and you would be happy with it. But the Integra type-R I really don't ever get. It's this because the car is a A++++ autocross/time attack car but the thing is 98% of the people here in the U.S. even the import guys like drag racing. So why is the Integra type-R liked by some meany people even thore it's only good in autocross/time attack? I don't know that having one is like the best thing is the world to some people but I still see them put turbo kits and lowering it with rims?


Now i'm not hating on the Integra type-R I do think it's a good car for what it's made to do. So i'm not hating on it or anything I this whated to ask what's up with this car?

They are extremely fun to drive cars and are rewarding to drive.

I've driven many faster and exotic cars, and I still have an ITR in my garage. None have provided the same driving enjoyment as the ITR.

Oh, and I've drag raced once (not in the ITR). I sucked at it so gladly went back to driving events that I consider fun.

OP, since you complained about the lock, I shall address the question. Most of the ITR owners who post in this forum like the car for exactly what it is: and road course and autocross vehicle. As far as drag racing, an Integra is relatively heavy compared to a Civic and in feats of acceleration, a=F/m. The structural changes that were made to the ITR compared to the non-ITR 94-01 Integras are inteded to increase chassis stiffness and are essentially useless for drag racing.

The ITR community is indeed a community. They will travel long distances to attend meets (there were people from AZ and WA at Expo X near Chicago last year). That type of dedication amazes me.

Now the reason that this thread was locked is linked to you posting history. You made a "life-tech" comment in a thread where an owner was discussing the history of his car. From your behavior in here, you do not understand the community associated with this car. Also, you essentially answered the purpose of the car in the first post.
