94 civic swap...
Alright I have a '94 civic ex that currently has a blown d16y8 motor that was boosted with a few other mods. Well it was fun while it lasted but now I'm looking to sell the turbo kit and start over with a b series motor..so i'm asking if i should go the b16b route or even the b18c1 or b18c5. I've also heard about using a b20 block with a b18 head but i'm not too sure how much trouble thats going to be in the long run. Also, I plan on building the motor. What parts (pistons, rods, cams, valve springs, cam gears, etc.??) would be ideal for going the NA way on the b18c5 or even boosting the b16b or b18c1. I'm not in any rush to get the motor in the car, i have a daily driver but i plan on purchasing a motor within a couple weeks so I can start the build..
P.S. my buddy has a eg shell and were about to do a k20a swap in it. I could go that route but i've heard that the amount of money that i would put into that swap i could have a sickk boosted gsr that would dust the k20..I'm looking to atleast contend with his k20 eg haha but any advise would help.
Thanks
