Default suspension ..AGAIN

alright i'm getting fed up, I thought Accords was suppose to be the suspension mobile..

HEre's my story
Had coilovers + stock shocks = CRAZY BUMPY ride
coilovers + tokico + agx = much better but still here clunks on the rear righ side over bumps
so today i went and bought H&R springs since so many people even on H-T recommended them

I found out that the shop who installed my coilover tossed my stock bushing thing...rubber piece and put in a smaller piece (???) that piece is small so it slides right through the springs, i have to order those now.....cause everytime i go over a bump i hear rattles + clunks (louder than w/coilover) due to the springs hitting whatever....

the ride quality is a slighty teeny tad bit better than coilover... so this sucks
i want my stock suspension back!!!

I dont see why your blaming this on Accords. Its your own fault for not getting the right parts.

P.S. There is nothing wrong with coilovers if installed right. After I set my AGX's to the softest setting, it will be almost like stock ride.

for all the loot you spent you could have had a nice coilover.

and since I notice you don't do your own work. you can't possibly know what to expect. other people doing work on your car =

The bumping noise on your right rear is just your rear swaybar hitting your exhaust most likely, not your coilovers/springs etc.

Only reason i say that is because my car does that, whenever i hit a bump i can hear it hitting. I do have an aftermarkey swaybar (the ST bar). If you have an aftermarket exhaust w/ larger piping it can cause this as well. I have the stock exhaust and w/ Eibach springs my rear swaybar sits right down on top of my exhaust.

hey buddy,

I know i could have had true coilover for all the $ I spent, I could do it using my garage using my own tools.

However, I do have to work 6 days per week, and I'm on call most of the time.
I'd rather pay someone $50-75 bucks as beer money for an hour and have my car with written proof than having to take a day off just do to 3-4 hours of hard work.

3-4 hours = is worth way more than a measley $75

thanks for those who replied with a neutral+ message, to the others !

I understand what you're saying. 9 times out of 10 I do my own work because I can do it on my own time. I don't have to worry about down time and finding rides to work. Though when inexperience or aggrivation warrants it I let other do the labor.

edit: and a 'measely' 75 bucks translates into close to two kegs.
