need a little help half radiator with ac
I'm looking to boost my gsr DA which has ac still and only way i can see the charge piping fitting is if i get a half size radiator. Now my question is how do i go about doing this so my ac works fine and i don't have overheating issues. Is one slim fan good enough?
I'm going to be doing the same thing but in a DC chassis. I'm just going to run a Half size radiator with a 12" slim fan and a 10" slim fan on the condenser. I've read that some people don't run a fan on the condenser and don't have any issues at all. you can try and if you have heating issues put a slim fan on it.

If you want to keep A/C, it would be best to use the Civic half-width radiator AND the half-width condenser. You might be okay with only 1 fan on the full-width condenser, but you'll likely have reduced or no cooling when the engine is running and A/C on but you're not driving.
I knew a guy with a Civic whose condenser fan blades somehow came off the motor while we were at NOPI Nats one year. He had zero cool air from the vents while sitting as a result. Luckily I had a spare bolt/nut and was able to rig it back up so that his A/C worked again.
You could also try switching to a pusher fan setup instead of puller fan, with both fans mounted on the forward side of the condenser, pushing the air through the condenser and the half-width radiator.

You will need a fan on the A/C condenser, no airflow through condenser when A/C is on will result in poor cooling but worse is high head pressure, it can easly reach up and over 300PSI, snd that can blow a holes in the condenser or blow hoses off the ferals. [aluminum lines].
I also agree the best way to get room between rads/condensers is to place fans on the outside and push the air, we do it all the time for hot rods we install A/C on.94
