Default B18b1 in 96 hatch

Ok so i recently bought this hatch with a b18b1 OBD1 swap. car had an idle surge problem. i cleaned out the FITV and fixed some cracked/worm coolant hoses and the idle surge went away. but now when the car is running it shakes and when i hold it at 1000-1500 rpm it idles like a mild 2-step and also at 3000-3500 rpm but higher than that it goes away.... what could this be?

Shakes? The entire car shakes? Clean your IACV?

yea like you can feel that the motor isnt running as smooth as it should be. IACV is located on the back side of the IM correct? and clean it the same way as the FITV?

Yeah, any gasket that is worn is most likely going to cause problems.
