how do i remove crank sprocket?
i need help removing the crank sprocket on my gsr block. i removed the crank and the oil pump is still on the crank because the of the crank sprocket. can someone tell me how the sprocket comes off plz
A bit of penetrating fluid between the crank and the sprocket and it should come right off. It's powdered metal so don't bang on it especially if it's an OBD2 one with tooth sensor wheel on the back side.
If it's stubborn use 2 screwdrivers between the sprocket and oil pump housing... gently.
