Hey Guys,

I have an EK9 with a JDM integra type r b18 motor and I am looking at purchasing a hondata. I wanted to find out if p28 ecu with the hondata s300 will work with my car.

Yes it will, however you will need to use an obd2 to obd1 ecu jumper or buy the obd1 p28 hondata ecu with obd2 plugs (a little more expensive).

The P28 doesn't utilize a knock sensor. Just thought I would throw that out there.

That makes absolutely no difference. Not using a knock sensor isn't going to stop the p28 from working properly. 99% of the vehicles running hondata use a p28 with no knock sensor. The factory honda bseries knock sensor is literally useless.
