Hey everyone, I just bought a set of used Ebay coilovers and now confused on telling the difference between front/rear.

 

eBay coilovers should be the same (front and rear)

 

Usaly there isnt a difference.
One of the signs that your buying garbage.

 

What's the difference? one pair sleeves/springs longer/shorter than the other pair?

 

What's the big deal?

You've got a 50/50 shot of your car riding like crap and a 50/50 shot of your car riding like crap.

Well, the coilovers that I have are in two pairs...one longer pair and one shorter pair. I just need to know which is for the front and which is for the back, simple as that.

 

I'm trying to remember. The Ebay sleeves the kid had on the car before I replaced them were like that. The longer springs go in the front with the shorter sleeves. The rears get the longer sleeves and shorter springs. Don't quote me 'cause that was almost 5 years ago when I bought the car off of him.

 

Dammit. Now I'm thinking all the longer items go up front and the shorter ones in the rear. I know for sure the longer springs go up front definitely. Sorry for being so confusing.
You might want to to a Google search because I've been drinking a little.
