ok, i have a 92 teg, i tried charging the a/c and noticed the clutch was not comming on, so i gave the compressor straight power and sure enough the clutch came on, so now here is my problem, i thought the clutch was not comming on because not enough freeon, so far i have 3 cans inside, and will not come on when connected to harness only when givin styriaght voltage, then i changed the 2 relys near the compressor, nothing changed..please help..

 

you could have a bad pressure switch. you may want to check that. you definitely dont want to overcharge the system too much pressure hurts also

its in the top line to the reciever/ drier. When the refrigerant pressure is below 215 kPa (33 p.s.i) due to leakage or above 2350 kPa (340 p.s.i) due to coolant blockage the a/c pressure switch opens the circuit to the a/c control unit and stops the a/c to protect the compressor. lemme know what ya find...Good luck!!!
