Black "H" emblem on what yr. accord?

Black "H" emblem on what yr. accord?
I own a CRX, and was looking to replace the front silver "H" emblem. I was wondering what year accord had the black emblem on the front(so I can ask for it at the dealer). Also how do I get my current unit off? Thank you for any insight you can provide.

some dealers carried a "carbon black" emblem package. That is probably what you saw. No accords came with specifically black emblems.

I think the one you talking about is called "black chrome" from honda dealer..
they have it for 6th gen accord, a set of those cost no less than 88 bucks if i recall it right.

now that I've ordered them I realize that they make different size emblems. I hope they are the same.

after looking at it again. the emblems are for a 6th gen. the back one should be fine. the front prolly not. but that's col cuz I don't have an emblem on the front (though I wanted to put one back on). the black chrome would have looked good with the black housing.

come again? I went to H&A and ordered the kit for the 6th gen's. It was the only one I saw. 100% impulse buy.
I didn't see where I could get anything for the 92-93 more or less the emblems themselves.

the black chrome would have looked good with the black housing.I was thinking this too, along with a mugen grill with just the oter edge painted to match the cars color and the inner painted black. It's a border line thing for me since I like to keep the sleeper look, but if done right I think it would be nice and clean.
That's my plan exactly.You can see how it looks when I get down to KC in a couple months.

Well, the front and rear on the (94-95) 5th gens are the same, right? Isn't the rear one on the early 4th gens the same? Or is that 3rd gen?

Wow, 20 responses... So either the 4G or a 6G "black chrome" emblem. The 6G being larger. More likely the same size as a CRX front emblem? How do you get the emblems off? Thanks for the info BTW...

The Accord that came with the Black emblem I think would be the 4th Gen JDM SI
Not really sure but I have a 4th Gen and my JDM grill has a embossed black emblem..... (pics soon to come)

For 6th gen, you can buy it...
the front emblem for 6th gen you need to slip you hand behind the bumper and remove the two screws.
back is just two pins.
