Will the ek hood fit inside an ek hatch. My hatch is gutted. I'm picking one up tomorrow and didn't even think about it fitting?

 

Put it in diagonal and you should be ok.

It may even fit flat, BUT I don't know. Meausre your hood and than the opening.

 

thats the thing. im at my dads and he doesnt have a tape measure

I've always just taken off my hood drove and pick up the new hood and put it on real fast get it home then line everything up. But here in Oregon it legal to drive without a hood I'd check laws in your area first before trying.

54-55 inches. I didn't want to scratch it, so thats the best I can do.

Sence you don't have a measuring tape, how big are your shoes? Lol.

Basicly just go toe to toe, across the car. If you have 12's or something, it should be about 4.5-5 of them.

If it doesn't grab some towles, and rope, and strap that bitch to the roof.

 

So it fit literally with no problems.

 

It fits, take the 96 hood off, drive to the place, put the 99 Si hood on and drive home. I did it a few weeks ago....no issues. It even clicked shut.

 

My car would have sat at UTI for 7 hours without a hood then lol. It's ok I took the hood off in the morning to check if it would fit and it did. I picked it up earlier.

 

must be nice to have a hatch, i have to cut a sheet of drywall into 4 pieces to get into my trunk!
