Rear Strut Bushings
Always a typical issue, all or most of the northern civics has this issue.. rear strut lower bushing bolt always seizes up.. i want to find the most easiest way or a great way of how to replace this bushing/bolt.. all comments are appreciated..
Assuming you havent broken the bolts yet, just make sure you soak it in wd40 (or kerosine) overnight, then heat up the bolt itself or the bushing, take a good 1/2in impact to it, and hopefully it will come loose.
If you broke the bolts already, then you either have to drill the remainder of the bolt out, replace the bushing, or replace the lca's entirely

I replaced them with energy suspension bushings. I was replacing the rear shocks at the same time and just used a cutting tourch to cut the bolts out and a 20ton press to remove the bushing and shell. If you dont have a press take the control arm off the car and take it to a local shop shouldnt be more then $20 to have them pressed out the energy suspensions are 2 peices and you do not need a press to put them in.
