b16 low rpm hesitation

Default b16 low rpm hesitation

my b16 hesitates when accelerating from around 1000 to 3500, like my acceleration isnt smooth. i changed the sparks plugs, cap and rotter, oil. any one have a possible reason? thanks

You may want to change the plug wires.

I've had a similar 'problem' ever since I got my civic.
From takeoff to about 2800 revs, it feels slow. I accelerate much faster after 3k.
I had always assumed that it's because my Z6 makes much more power in higher rpms... not really a torque motor.
But if there is a way to gain low-end power... I would love to know!
