Default si climate control and ex climate control

A guy is going to sell me what he says to be an si climate control/radio bezel for 50 bucks but whats really the difference from the ex one? should i get it?

There is no "Si" climate control, just two diffrent types. One came in all 96-98 civics, the other came in all 99-2000 civics. For the price its a good deal, would I get one, well that depends on how much work you want to do. Im assuming you have the 96-98 climate control, if you want the "Si" one to work you will have to change the whole heater core box, blower, etc. Looks better, but not worth the trouble IMO. man i just got one for 50 bucks to but i didnt think it would be that much ummmm may keep it the same now

LoL. Yeah. I made sure when I bought the car I had the 3 ***** version instead of the sliders. Have you all ever seen the stock navigation in these cars?

Lol crap i totally forgot the heater core is different well good thing i decided not to get it. thanks for the help.

^ LOL, it's not. There are just a handful of items you need to change, and there's no need to remove the whole heater core/vent unit. This conversion is fraught with misinformation.
