i have a b16 with a type r IM and s2000 throttle body. but the idle is at like 400rpm and there is no screw to adjust the idle. i had a b16 TB and it worked good for idle but this new one doesnt, anyone know why? i dont want to go bact to my b16 TB so any help will be nice

the b16 IM is better. you get a lil bump from a type r IM at 7k and up. a whole 1200rpm isn't worth it.

 

im looking for the reason why my car idles so low with that throttle body?? new gasket too

 

honestly, just go back to the b16 TB, because the s2000 one is ~2mm larger.

is your car obd2 or 1? if obd1, you can adjust the idle through your ecu and be done, if obd2 i think your are SOL without a tune, which would mean going obd1 anyhow.
