turbo gsr exhaust questions
Hi I have a stock gsr motor skunk 2 intake t3t5 50 trim turbo cast manifold on 8 lbs. My exhaust setup is 2.5 downpipe into 2.5 midpipe to a rsx type s muffler will I be able to near 240 250 at the wheels tuned with this setup that's all im going for . I like that u cant hear the exhaust . any help.is apprciated
When boosting, you dont need any restrictions.. 2.5 is fine but get rid of the RSX restrictive muffler and buy something that is straight thru.
Vibrant sleeper is a good one. Will be quiet untill you put your foot in it.
EDIT: You should not use a cast manifold with any engine that revs past 6500 safely.D series and B20's are perfect for a log.
The logs are restrictive past 6k rpms and you should be running a ram or mini ram for better high rpm flow past 6k rpms.

False info. My Inline Pro T3 manifold held hp and tq pretty well throughout the powerband. And I was revving to 8500. Stock GSR. Turbine housing size & exhaust size will play a factor in powerband before the manifold will, and with a whp goal of his size, it probably wont even matter.

my y8 revs safely past 6... lol so youre saying a log is bad....
considering the inline pro manifolds arent really "logs" per say I find this info incorrect
