Well guys i have a very sneaky oil leak i have searched with no results to my problem. Basicly i have an oil leak on the right side of the block where the trans mounts to the block i have replaced the vtec solenoid gaskets (both) and my dist o-ring. my cam plug istnt the source of the leak but before i replace that i just wanna ask wht else would leak in this area to get all over the trans and the back of the block on this side?

 

It sounds like it could be your rear main seal

 

X2 on the rear main seal, however if your cam plug isn't leaking now, it probably will soon enough. Replace it first, cause its cheap and easy to get to and see if it helps. Sometimes its hard to tell where exactly the oil is coming from. GL

 

sorry forgot to mention that its coming some where from the top and i replaced my rear main seal when i did my clutch

 

valve cover might be brittle in some areas near there or not seating properly

 

Valve cover seal, distributor o ring. Check under the vetc solenoid as well it leaks a lot on higher mileage preludes.
