S2000 antenna mod on DC?
Anyone done this? I need to know where can I get an adapter that lets me keep the OEM internal mast so I can keep the radio antenna cable feed connected while using a S2000 antenna.

I don't have the internal mast. I got an adapter wire that changes the interior antenna cable to a wire with a ring terminal, and connected that to the screw/coupler that the S2000 mast attaches to.
Reception is not very good, but it looks nice and has been on my car nearly a decade now. I always plug my iPhone into my stereo while driving anyway.

When I put mine in I didn't need any type of adapter or anything it just plugged in. The reception isn't great with mine either, but its better than havnig a broken antenna that grinds going up and down and looks like crap.

I think Radio Shack has them.
Did you use the complete S2000 antenna including the booster under the quarter panel? If you use this, you can just plug your antenna cable in. I did not use the booster (nobody did back in 2002) and so my antenna cable is essentially just connected straight to the mast on the outside using the adapter cable.
There's a how-to on Team Integra on how to mount the antenna with the booster.

The S2K antenna does look good though.

There is no place to connect the OEM antenna wire to the S2000 mast by itself. The mast is just a stick of rubber with a metal core and threaded screw end on the bottom. You must have it attached some other way.
I´ve been looking around the Team Integra site and so far I have seen a reference to the SharK antenna solution which sells for $35. I have not seen anything yet related to the S2000 option as described previously.

Search for Antenna on the blog posts (they have changed their forum software and the articles are now blog posts). There will be one for the Shark and another one for the S2000.
I was searching up how to install the s2k antenna (which I bought back in '04 lol) and I found an alternate method here http://www.importmodifications.com/m...00antenna.html (I posted this in here to help anyone else searching for info in the future so don't hate about a over a year old dead thread)
