D16Z6 high hp and main bearings

Im building D16Z6 with acl race bearings. Im wondering if anyone has tryed to enlarge mainbearing holes like this:

Why these bearings have so small holes if its problem? Im aiming about 350whp with holset hy35. How about 400whp+ d16 engines, what kind of main bearings you have?
