D16Z6 high hp and main bearings
Im building D16Z6 with acl race bearings. Im wondering if anyone has tryed to enlarge mainbearing holes like this:

Why these bearings have so small holes if its problem? Im aiming about 350whp with holset hy35. How about 400whp+ d16 engines, what kind of main bearings you have?

The holes are in perfect alignment with the feed holes in the main caps...and oddly enough, they're darned near the same diameter as the oil holes in the crankshaft.
