projector halo bulb replacement?
l have a set of projector halo headlights. my main driverside projector bulb is out. how do l replace it? and where can l get another one?
Omg read my projector bulb is blown. It doesnt have a.regular bulb the actual projector needs to be replaced. And yes I did all that work n lm not sure where to get another bulb like this one
If you're talking about the "projector bulb" like you stated in your first post, it should be just a bulb inside that projector housing. Trust me. It's no different. Pop the back cover off, it should be a clip that is holding the bulb down, disconnect the wires off the bulb and pull it out. It should be something like a H4 or something. But if you're talking about the Halos, it's a different story.
Otherwise, post pictures of your projector headlights to give me an idea of how they look like so I can see if it's got the H4 bulbs or not.

If you are referring to the halo ring, you will have to uninstall the headlight housing. Then disassemble the housing. Then install new LED bulbs with the proper resistor. Make sure you silicone the hell out of any electrical connections, so corrosion can't harm it.
Thats what I'm saying as you can see that those two wires hooks up to the two prong H4 bulb. Unplug the two wires from the bulb as shown there, Unlatch the spring-clip and remove the bulb because that's what is holding the bulb down then pull it out. Trust me. I've done these before. You'll be laughing out loud to find out it's just a bulb.

Huh well this morning damn thing came on but I yea I hope it is a bulb. Be stupid if wasnt. But hopefully stays working but if not thxs nuss I wasnt sure how to take it out n didnt wanna damage it. So if doesnt work I know what the.clips for now
p.s. know the brights bulb is an H1.its a pretty small flat bulb too.
no clue on regular lights.
i used to have the same projectors in my accord about 5 years ago. they sucked horribly! they always gave me problems...bulbs always flickering, burning out within a few days, constant condensation in them. ended up trashing them and buying real jdm stanleys. hell if ya cant afford jdm stanleys, get depos and retrofit a "true" projector in them. do this and you wont regret it.
