Hello all. These jerks have my car at the shop and have effectively doubled what they quoted me on a tranny rebuild! (after they pulled it out, of course) So I need to just take in a different tranny. I have a '93 Lude with a F22B motor. Will a manual transmission from a '95 bolt right in? Thanks guys.

 

It should fit right in. Let me know the ID from the sticker on each transmission and I will let you know for sure.

 

Hey Synchro. So looks like I found a different Tranny. The code is M2S4. (this belongs on a H23A1 motor)
This should work on the F22B , correct?

 

It should fit - What is the code from your F22B transmission?

 

The old one was M2J5

 

The M2S4 will fit exactly like the M2J5 but it has different ratio gears. They are very similar so if the M2S4 is a good transmission you will be fine.
