Default code 17 b20b 00 civic si (videos included)

I have a few problems with my car this one is getting annoying though. every once in awhile when im driving the car would be unresponsive.. I would push down on the pedal and get little to no response for a few seconds then the car would kick in but after that check engine light would come on. I jumped the ecu and got code 17 obd1. my question is how do i fix that? also the speedometer works fine.

Are you sure it's code 17 and not codes 1 and 7? Which would be primary O2 sensor and throttle position sensor codes. That sounds more like your problem areas.

TPS or O2 sensor could do that. I would suspect the TPS, it could be making both codes. If you can, put a scan tool with data feed on it and see what the TPS is reading. It should read about 10% at no throttle and about 90% WOT. If it's not reading right check the throttle plate and throttle cable for binding or looseness. If their ok then your looking at TPS replacement. I think yours is riveted on so, you would have to get a new throttle body.
