the engine light turned on today...based upon that as well.

Check timing, both valve and ign.

What is your fuel pressure, when was last time fuel filter was changed? 94

Mine did that for a while, it was my dizzy arcing, I just needed a new rotor. It would start sputtering on 4000 exactly.
