cool, good luck with trying to find what backordered issue it is, i tryed for months, and come up with nothing, i was lucky to have a friend that hung on to his issue.

Heh... exactly. Man, I've done that swap enough times to realize that the SCC article on swapping one is worthless (well, not entirely, but it doesn't go into the jist of swapping in the motor - just tells you what parts you need. I don't use the HASport mount kits... I only use the HCP mount kits and there's no cutting like that involved in the engine bay. I'm going to do an extensive write up with lots of picts (from both EGs and EKs) about doing a H22 swap... just haven't had the time to do it but after doing a couple, it's really not that difficult.

If you want, I have that magazine at home... I'll give you the article number and sort - plus I've seen people scan those in already somewhere on the web. Man, $12? You can buy a back-issue magazine for $5 from SCC, plus is maybe covers 70% of the swap.... and not the nitty-gritty stuff either.

 

If you've got a link to that..I'd love to see it.

I think it is messed up you would charge anyone for information on a public site, especially since it is owned by someone other than yourself.

This website wasn't put here so you could photocopy a magazine article only to sell the one article for twice as much as the whole issue could be purchased for. Are there no copyright laws against what you're trying to do?
