I'm looking for these Championship White bumper plugs...although they're not worth much I'm willing to pay money for them...apparently can't get them from the dealer....or CAN anyone get the part number of these for me?

I have a set but its not white. I think I have them in purple. You can have them for free and paint them CW. Just pay shipping.

 

I don't think they are a part because its delivered with the R. Of course States required front plate, these were thrown out.
I still have my FBP one because I requested my dealer to save it for me after front plate bracket were installed.

Yup that is how I got mine. I went to the dealer and asked for them. They did not have any and it could not be ordered. The guy behind the counter then pulled out a little box full of them. He told me since California requires front plates they take the plugs out. I took 4 sets and gave 1 to my friend. Still have 2 sets left. Not sure the exact color but 1 is purple and other is sliver.

A little touch-up paint would take care of the paint match issue.

 

I don't know what you guys are talking about. I went to the dealer and they ordered me a set of them in CW... I had them in a few days.

 

this may sound stupid... but try honda... they look exactly the same for my Si, and just paint them to match... thats if nothing else comes thru

I actually just sanded mine down and used touch up paint to coat them Phoenix Yellow. Looks Great Also dotted them with super glue to keep jackasses from ripping them off.

When I brought my Si to Honda, they just put them in for me. I don't know if it was one of the service guys who just had love or what but when I came to pick up my ride they were just on the car.

 

Yeah, just get any color bumper plugs and paint them with CW touch up paint.

BTW.... I need a set for my Girlfriend's civic, anyone wanna send me theirs for free?

 

Just go to the dealer and tell them you never got a set when you bought your car, and you want one. They should just pull a box out like he described...

In California, you are required to have a front plate. Cops around here are going to start strongly enforcing it because we just got a couple of those cameras that spot you when you run a red. I would glue them but I plan on putting mines back on one day but summer is just too damn hot. I just wanted to give my IC all the air it can get.

Well.. I don't intend on running any red lights, and if I do, front license plate is going to be the least of my worries. hehe.

 

That is not what I meant. I wanted to say that because they have those cameras now, they will make sure everyone has their front plate. How else are they going to get paid?

my suggestion would be to just go to honda (if your acura dealer wont order them for you) and ask for some white plugs from a 96-00 civic... call me crazy but i think for how small those things are, and the fact that they are plastic the paint will never be exactly the same anyway, and chances are if they are like my dealer, they will have a big box full of FREE ones. That way if it sucks or doesnt match, out nothing.

PS: They are supposed to be in the glove box when you get the car new, if they are not installed in the car, quite a few of my friends didnt know that and checked after getting a second set and finding them there. HTH.

obviously you would just get white ones, but you can't really tell a difference.
