ok, here the deal, i want to sell my car but dont really know what i should ask for it, i dont want to ask too much but i also dont want to get jipped.

ok heres where it gets good, HERES WHAT THE car needs (nothing major actually)

1.rear brakes
2.new carpet (i tried putting in an ACC carpet but i screwed it up, thus it looks like poo )

3.need radio and spks, (im keeping them, too much money invested on those)
4.could use some bushings, chassis does have high miles but this is up to whoever buys it.)

5.power door lock button no longer works (hasnt for a while) this i dont care about but anyone whoo is ****, who knows. doesnt take much effort locking the door like normal

6.need 2 new front tires (turbo does this sort of thing )

cant think of much else right now......ill prolly think of other **** im sure....

i just spent like $1,200 in the last month on maintance too:

1.new timing belt
2.water pump
3.oil pump
4.oil pan gasket
5.ACL bearings
6.new rear shocks/strut mount kit
7.valve cover gasket set
8.thermostat

needs left front axle (i can hear it clicking around corners, $100 repair)

needs a-pillars mine have small holes in them (i had pods on the left side and a fire extigisher (sp?) back in the day. these cost $40 for both new at the dealer,

i say 5-6 grand for me, because of the high mileage on chassis, and also seems like it needs alot of maintenance.

 

shoot put it on ebay with a 13000 reserve ..... You make that easy ... tell em its JDM !!!!

 

Does it run hard? Considering everything i'd say 6-7 grand because it needs some stuff.

 

run hard? omg yes, i took my friends gran prix gtp out hard and that has a 3.8 v6 supercharged plus he added the pully (+30hp), high flow cat, cat back,plugs,cold air box w/ ram air hood.

civics and tegs are merely a joke now, for that matter vtec no longer impresses me, nothing like the sheer thrust of the turbo.

i better stop cause it just makes me not want to sell it

You know how much you paid for the car right? And how much you paid for all the mods? Cant you just figure something out from that? Just put how much you want, and take it from there.

 

4k-5k because that thing is trashed. Dude look at your ECU compartment. That **** looks nasty as hell. And no spark plug wire cover. Wires stretched all over the engine bay. Dude at least try to clean it up so it at least looks clean and respectable. And mount that Boost controller or whatever is laying sideways in the center console area. I mean you have some nice parts and you have obviously spent some money on your car. So how about making it look like it is at least worth something. Not trying to be a ***** just take pride in something that you have put all that time and money into.

 

Project cars are hard to sell so get ready to be low balled.

Others dont understand or appreciate what the builder had to go through if he/she swapped the engine in the car. All the missing parts and headache that you go through.

They see a hatchback and say I will pay 2200 for it and since its got a B18C1 or B16 I'll add about 3000 grand so I should only pay 5200.00.

Oh well.
