Here she is everyone...





I've had A LOT of interest via IM's asking what kind of deal I got. I'm not going to be bashful I will just tell you guys. Some of you might think I got ripped off, some of you might think I got a good deal.

I basically got $19k for my ITR and paid sticker for the WRX. Now if you see it my way, I traded my ITR in...therefore I saved a ton of $$ on taxes because I'm only paying the difference (approx $1k). So let's say I sold my R for $19k. Well I would've had to pay more taxes when I bought the WRX. Sticker on the WRX was $25,760.

It had a few more options than I really wanted, but that's fine because I will enjoy them (Upgraded speaker/sub/amp package, turbo gauge, rear spoiler). Winter is just around the corner here in Nebraska so snow is about 1-2 months away. I'm sure Subaru isn't having problems selling WRXs here since out of the 3 dealers I went to...each one only had 2-3 per dealer. I almost bought a silver '02 at another dealer with 65 miles on it. Thank god I shopped around more and went to the dealer I did. I got a better deal and got a '03 with 10 miles. Never even test driven.

Before you do any mods, go to a driving school so you can learn how to park better.

You need two things and you will enjoy your car MUCH more:

- Manual boost controller

- New tires (Yokohama AVSi are $60 each in stock size at Tirerack.com)

They made a world of difference in my wagon.

What are your plans for it? any potential D-stock outings?

 

North America is always slow to recieve nice import stuff. Probably see it next year here on our shores. Looks like they are getting rid of their 2002 inventory of neon front ends by dumping it in North America for one last year.

Am I the only one who like the new headlights versus the old. It looks like the new one has projectors and tinted lens. Best part of all, it doesn't look like a neon.

Yellow Dragon: I think you got a good deal. Now go to home depot and make a manual boost controller.

I just read the article and they state that "the tail lights have a round them like the Honda Integra". Anyone have pics of the tail lights?
