random list of questions noobs might like anwsering too that google doesnt anwser as easy.. when I say noob, I mean me.

1.When do you need to get your engine tuned? after easy upgrades like headers, cold air intake, or is it only to cams and stuff?

2.what is your car trying to tell you when it bogs, like when I press on the gas only sometimes it seems like gas isnt getting through, is that just mean a new fuel filter is needed?

3. How the **** do you get a ef 4 door back door to open, then door is stuck and I can tell its from the lock being blocked because the lock wont lift up all the way, but I cant reach all the bolts. any way to do it otherwise?

4. car wont start unless I let it sit for a while, and ussually have to press the gas all the way to the floor to start the car ( previous car owned by a retard who did a ghetto toggle switch. fool also thought the valve hose didnt need to be connected to the intake, and it has no grounding connected to the head, wtf does this lead too?)

5. would afterperformance fuel injection add a noticable hp? annd do you just swap them in with the old ones?

any help would be helpful...

1. A tune is really only NECESSARY when you start adding forced induction. You don't NEED to tune with bolt on's, but you will get more power out of them if you do. You also need something to tune your ecu with, like chrome, neptune or hondata. It should really be OBD1, or you will need to convert to OBD1.

2. Bogging could be a number of different things. Start troubleshooting. Use the search function on Honda-Tech it will help a lot.

3. Good question.

4. Again, search. Many common questions have been answered many times already.

5. Aftermerket fuel injection will not add horsepower on its own. It is more or less a "supporting mod". More fuel is only needed when the engine is getting more air. And you will need to tune...

1, getting your motor tuned is beneficial after any and all performance upgrades...if you can afford it. This can be expensive and for just bolt ons like intakes and exhaust...not really worth it, at least in my opinion

2. when the car bogs it means the fuel isn’t combusting correctly, whether that is from lack of fuel, spark or air. this could be caused by a ton of different things. You need to list out specifically when it does, what it acts like and what motor setup you have

3. ive never owed a 4 door civic so i cant help you here

4. sound like you may have a major fuel or electric issue here. if the previous owner installed a halfassed fuel cut off switch then you need to trace all of the components of this and remove it

5. if your car is dpfi, do the mpfi swap. if you have a d15b1 and you do the swap and add a d16a6 cam, you will gain close to 50% of your stock hp, d15b2 will obviously gain less but still a very noticeable gain
