Icon3 Broke front wheel STUDS on 97 Accord. Removal of Hub Necessary?

I had to change the rotor last summer and what a pain in the ***. Well, I stripped 3 front studs tonight somehow so I need to replace them. I'd rather not pull it all apart again.

I'm seeing that some people are able to remove the studs without removing the hub. Can this be done on a 97 as well? If I remember, there wasn't too much room back there.

Thanks guys.

Nah you dont have to take it out.

You might mess up your bearings but I would at least try..

take off the caliper and hit the broken stud with a hammer square on the head.

Install the new stud through the back.

screw a lug nut onto the new stud so it seats in the hub.

Good luck!

Ok, so just to clalify. I'll only need to pop the caliper off, then pop out the studs?
