my girls 1993 honda civic lx automatic d15b7 it ran great this morning turns on everything the moment she gets out of work it doesnt start .. it wasnt getting any power at all i replaced the battery checked fuses check relays everything pleassee helpp any advise is greatly appreciated! thankk you

 

What happens when you try to start it? Any clicking noises?

 

Checked the 80 amp battery fuse in the engine bay fuse box?

 

nothing at all no lights no power to anything i thought it was the battery so i replaced it and nothing still not even a beep

 

checked that theres still a connection with the brass piece in the middle

 

Might want to use a test light to make sure.

 

i did i even tried to bridge it with a wire and i didnt get a spark nothing it has me confused as hell

 

Check for voltage from the battery to the engine bay fuse box at the 80 amp fuse. If nothing, you either have the battery cables reversed, bad battery or positive battery cable.

 

not battery its brand new just bought an hour ago and cables are not reversed

Does she have an alarm?

 

On both sides of the fuse you have 0 volts? If so, double check battery terminals for voltage. If you have voltage at the terminals and zero at the 80 amp fuse, it tells me there is a break in the positive battery cable.

 

okay theres one thing that stands out white wire that comes off the pos terminal to the fuse box has a small part of it broken out of the terminal but most of it is still in the terminal.... thats bout the only break i found

 

and she has been having issues with her speedometer i replaced the cluster and the speed sensor idk man im frustrated im debating on just re doing the whole harness..

 

speed sensor- Clean the plug on speed sensor i had the same issue once.
battery- have you checked the alternator
